#108 Good weather for an airstrike

It's been a roller coaster of events lately so I just didn't have the physical opportunity to post anything. Anyhow, In the few lines I get to share here, I feel like just stating how important friendship is and I am glad there are some really amazing people around me. Regarding the music, the reason for the post is Toe - Good bye. A brilliant composition, I must say, especially if you enjoy some of the benefits of the place where I live. Total relaxation and some japanese (I believe) vocals. For the rest I will be completely random... lets see..

#96 A walk in the mist /various/

Was walking around the city today. I guess... around the late afternoon. There was a slight mist, which is not very surprising for this dark and gloomy place. So as I was minding my own business thinking about the everyday, not very remarkable things, a blind man passed me by...

uh..I had to rewrite the next couple of sentences cause it is really hard to express what exactly I want. But lets go back on the situation. You know, people always say that disabled people don't like compassion and people feeling sorry for them and I really do get them. I kind of try to inspire myself, because those people really deserve respect. They face obstacles beyond our imagination, cope with them, often win and keep pushing. I never paid much attention to the way blind people..deal with the everyday life and I don't know what made me pay attention to that particular man. He was also kind of going my direction (more or less) so I was walking behind him and was observing his movement. It was trully amazing. He was faster than many of the random people on the street and really precise in following..wherever he was going. That thing kept for like 5 minutes or so before we had to "part" ways - using his stick as a radar, he confidently took turn in a small street and I lost him out of sight. I don't know why I even talk about that but..such an everyday life thing, which I never thought before impressed me a lot. Kudos. Enjoy the songs.

#87 The Ocean /acoustic, relaxed/

Insomnia can be a bitch sometimes. Although it is quite good sometimes on productivity and creativity it gets a bit boring, especially if you fight it for years. I hope when I get older I can sleep more. At least I start writing some stuff during the night. I like the quietness. If you add some music in that mix you get the perfect creativity environment. It's not like I will come up with something extraordinary that is going to give the chills to someone, but yeah putting the thoughts in a sense-making order gives me some sort of satisfaction.

I was thinking of parents - children relationship. Sometimes I think we do not praise them enough. Or we take them for granted. I cannot imagine what is it like to be a parent, but I just picture this .. exalted feeling of knowing that there is something much more important and bigger than you in this world. Something that you are ready to fight, protect and die for. I believe this is how my parents feel about me. Them and many more.. For us, who are lucky to have parents like those, well..we should be grateful. Very grateful. Now back to the books... that was just a very short thought that has been going through my mind and might sparkle it in yours, if anybody is reading this. Otherwise you can always enjoy the songs below :)

#85 Ocean /acoustic rock, chill/

It's Sunday. 14:17 in the afternoon..well yeah - kind of makes sense. I am reading my extremely uninteresting article dealing with the Great Depression. I mean, it is intriguous, but right now...

...and the next song goes on, so I lift my head up and start looking around... Sunday in the library, full of different students, eagerly grasping whatever they can take from the textbooks or..checking Facebook, but - it is quiet. There's this guy biting his nails and staring empty in the column in front of him or the nerdy girl across me, intensively underlining shitloads of things in all the available colors she has..and a dozen of other young people. So I sit here, listening to that song and I dream of moving somewhere else...a place where time seems to go slowly, life seems carefree, there is a vast green field of grass and a magnificent lake and THE SUN.. happy people are passing by and my head is spinning but I don't care because nothing else matters and I listen to this music and enjoying the....

#66 The beginning of the end /various/

Okay, so I am at the final stop of my summer trip and after ..dont know how many days I sit in front of a computer and since my friend from Madrid is sleeping I decided to drop some information here. After tents, cars, beaches and festivals I will fancy a bed and shower, but I will kind of miss the adventures you will read later on. I saw some of the most amazing sunsets, beaches, mountains, waterfalls..which I jumped from! in the world...

Although its not rly a blog I plan to post a long post with pictures of the weird adventures I´ve been through and the places I ended up..some of them quite unexpected. I was supposed to visit Spain only, but I ended up waking up in a beach in portugal just at the most western point of the continent. But stay tuned for more. Besides Portugal, technically I entered UK ..the picture u see is from Gibraltar and we were at the top of that awesome small mountain or whatever it is, admirnig the sunset. I recorded many cool spanish songs but I need to find them on youtube... so when I get back home.

The first band I post Rufus T. Firefly ..well I met their drummer, an really positive and nice girl called Julia and i got their 2 cds and ..well they rock. I think I might dedicate a whol post on t heir music..later on. The other 3 songs..they are just accompanying me during my tour of this part of the world. Enjoy.

Rufus T. Firefly - ?

Oasis - Champagne Supernova

The killers - when you were young

Eddie Vedder - Hard Sun

#60 Postcard from Italy /acoustic, folk/

Belogradchik, Bulgaria
It is a bit cold, but nevertheless very relaxed and chilled day. So here I am laying down on my couch next to the big window, watching the trees outside, slightly being moved by the wind... and I guess I just want to listen to something peaceful.

Beirut - Postcard from Italy very interesting band, strongly reccommend!

An afternoon like that cannot go without Kings of Convenience - Misread

...and riding the slight folkish wave from Beirut - some very promising Bulgarian artist Kotarashky - Tebe

#58 Pyro /easy-going/

Even though we've changed and we're all finding our own place in the world, we all know that when the tears fall or the smile spreads across our face, we'll come to each other because no matter where this crazy world takes us, nothing will ever change so much to the point where we're not all still friends.

Incubus - Defiance (live)

Joseph Arthur - In the sun

Kings of Leon - Pyro

#51 Some will seek forgiveness, others escape

In general, I do agree that what's charming about the future is that it is obscure, but on rare occasions I do get kind of troubled about... well about everything that is ahead of me..ahead of all of us. I wonder how our lives would turn out, cause although I passed my teenage years long time ago, I still feel everything but prepared for the unknown. I will just keep believing that eventually everything will turn out okay for you, for me, for all of us.

Enjoy the songs and the upcoming weekend!

Underoath - Some will seek forgiveness, others escape

The Blanks - Hey ya!

Brett Dennen - Ain't no reason

#21 Shooting stars /easy-going/

Okay, its Friday and its the last week of one of the coldest months. To sum up - alles goed! So, this will be the last comment for February and... well I won't focus around a certain genre, what I feel like is posting some as defined before as easy-going songs, which you can play in the beginning of a party to warm up or.. fuck it, they are awesome kick-off for every day!

The next song was sent to me by awesome sister and despite the initial conversation in the video, where the dude sounds exactly like Arnold Schwarzenegger, the song is almost 10 points of the scale of awesomeness.

Jan Delay - Oh Johny

Cool song, right? Anyhow, coming up is another song which I heavily abused on youtube. I'm pretty sure I will post it again in another post, because I just love it! They play it quite often in one of my favourite bars here called Warhole. I do suspect it is quite popular. So there it goes - Bag Raiders - Shooting Stars!

And the final track for this month is taken by N.E.R.D. with their You know what. The track is mind-blowing, its got everything, a bit hip hop, catchy keyboard, cool guitar sound in the background.

Oh well, that was from me for February, I'm taking a short posting vacation till Tuesday so I can devote my time to partying during the weekend and reading articles and posting the blog wherever I can.

Oh, yeah one more thing, I'm trying to expand it a bit so if you have any ideas what other pages I can include  (besides Home and Contacts) or you got reccommendations what you think might be useful on the blog (like links, articles etc.) just let me know, would be quite useful. Be right back.

#18 In the city of fury /late night music/

Do not feel like explaining what brought me up listening to that music at that time of the day, but I'm sure most of us feel like listening to that late at night. It kind of makes you think about stuff, you know? So..when that moment comes - enjoy...

Soda stereo - en la cuidad de la furia

Foo Fighters - On the mend

Katie Melua - Fear of hights

Sleep well, reader..or good morning or afternoon? yeah, cannot guess what time of the day you read that post, but I strongly advice you to wait for the quietness of a good night before listening to that. Otherwise, just click on #17, for example.

#17 Dice /indie rock, easy-going/

Hey, just came back from uni... I totally forgot how hard is the student's life. But at least we learn something not as boring as the usual things we take. It's been crazy for the past couple of weeks, which I guess is good cause I keep myself kind of busy. I got the motivation to write today because of a song I came across facebook this morning, thank you (the person who posted it).

Finley Quaye - Dice

The song is unbelievably fucking incredible! I think I'm gonna rape the replay button on youtube..actually I better download it?

The next band, I found accidently on myspace 5 or 6 years ago and until recently they did not have anything on youtube, but luckily someone posted that - Moldig - Cloudless. In my opinion, they are very promising so do not hesitate to check them out! :)

And the last one is a random pick-up from my old school winamp playlist Asher Lane - News Days.

I tried to be kind of positive, since its Monday and we got another 4 days and a half to push until next weekend. Wish you an above-the-decent rest of the day.
