#90 Remix my thoughts
I was trying to take a short afternoon nap cuz..I am just completely unproductive in any sense of the word. Well, was an epic fail. But I was listening to this remix of "Twice" and while I was desperately trying to fall asleep that came to my mind "remix my thoughts". Sounds kinda catchy, ye? If I ever have to come up with an album name, that would be it, roflmao.
I don't know what exactly is.."remix my thoughts" but..good to me it sounds. I guess in a way we very often "remix" our thoughts before they actually came out through any of the communication channels available. We often "dress" or change them a bit, put a bit of this, remove a bit of that. They are in a way..remixed. It's just how brain and the basic sense of communication work. Wow, I just totally came up with that right now, but sounds like its coming from a textbook, right. Hah.Whether that "remix" is better than the original.. nobody knows. It is time for some nice remixes..good for studying :)
Little dragon - Twice (Raw Tactics rmx)
Example - Watch the sun come up (Joker & Ginz rmx)
The XX - Shelter (Willpower remix)

#89 Typical /alternative rock/
Recently I close friend of mine..a friend I have for a quite some time sent me a picture of a burnt piece of paper with some text on it. I read it and I realized it sounds familiar. It was something I wrote 5 or 6 years ago on that very same piece of paper which later i burned on the edges and gave it to that very same friend of mine. I did change it a bit cuz..i wanted to write tonight, but I hope you like the main idea behind it and the songs which you can just scroll down to. Enjoy your Sunday evening. Don't be typical! :)
We live our busy, dynamic, fast-forward lives. And even though you might think that it is not always like that, time in fact passes incredibly fast. But on rare occasions we try to peak back in the past, back to the beginning. What infuenced our lives, who were we and what were our dreams. Why did we choose this particular path which lead us to where we currently are. Well, for me is always hard to answer those questions. Time blurred my mind. Irreversibly. On the other hand, there are a few moments.. yeah I bet you know what I talk about. The most precious time span of our lives - the time with our friends and family. And I don't mean every single second. I mean the moments when you look at them and you realize that at this very same moments you are not just a bunch of people. You share one body and soul, dedicated to an idea, a dream, a purpose. A moments of true happiness. Those memories will not vanish with the movement of the clock's arrow. They are engraved in your mind forever.

#88 Random thoughts /indie rock/
Something came to my mind today. I do get the fact that we are considered as the most superior creatures on this planet because of our intelligence and so on..you know, the usual blaberish. And despite the fact how complicated the human brain is..I do have a vague idea how things work..for most of us.. but have you ever though how do animals view the world around us...
So, I am really fucking curious what kind of thoughts they have, how do they process information..when..you interract with it? Whether cause you love the animal or it is interesting or ..you want to kill him. Erm, basically information about it has been processed in your human brain and.. yeah I really get it. But what exactly those creatures think..of us for example? Do the species communicate? There's this mosquito flying next to me and I wish I could see the world through his eyes for just a minute. I mean I would prefer another animal, but that one was the one I saw first. Enjoy those easy going indie-ish songs while thinking bout this nonsense you just read :)

#87 The Ocean /acoustic, relaxed/
Insomnia can be a bitch sometimes. Although it is quite good sometimes on productivity and creativity it gets a bit boring, especially if you fight it for years. I hope when I get older I can sleep more. At least I start writing some stuff during the night. I like the quietness. If you add some music in that mix you get the perfect creativity environment. It's not like I will come up with something extraordinary that is going to give the chills to someone, but yeah putting the thoughts in a sense-making order gives me some sort of satisfaction.
I was thinking of parents - children relationship. Sometimes I think we do not praise them enough. Or we take them for granted. I cannot imagine what is it like to be a parent, but I just picture this .. exalted feeling of knowing that there is something much more important and bigger than you in this world. Something that you are ready to fight, protect and die for. I believe this is how my parents feel about me. Them and many more.. For us, who are lucky to have parents like those, well..we should be grateful. Very grateful. Now back to the books... that was just a very short thought that has been going through my mind and might sparkle it in yours, if anybody is reading this. Otherwise you can always enjoy the songs below :)

#86 Moleman /drum n bass, dubstep/
I guess lately I feel like devoting a whole post to only one artist/band. So yeah, that would be one of those posts. My flatmate lately introduced me to a producer from UK going by the name Moleman.
I had enough time to listen to most of his stuff on youtube more than once. Actually I got my own addiction for some of his tracks. In general I do not consider myself as very knowledgeable about the electronic music, but I stand behind my words when I say that some of those tracks are the best thing I have heard in a while.
You would not regret if you check his youtube channel - there are some killer drum n bass and dubstep tunes on it. I like to label them as a "Sunday electronic music" although I cannot explain very well the logic behind that. Maybe you will understand. Enjoy!
ps. check out this track Imagine and you will find out why I call it a "Sunday drum n bass". Im gonna keep my reading in the sun while enjoying this tune...

#85 Ocean /acoustic rock, chill/
It's Sunday. 14:17 in the afternoon..well yeah - kind of makes sense. I am reading my extremely uninteresting article dealing with the Great Depression. I mean, it is intriguous, but right now...
...and the next song goes on, so I lift my head up and start looking around... Sunday in the library, full of different students, eagerly grasping whatever they can take from the textbooks or..checking Facebook, but - it is quiet. There's this guy biting his nails and staring empty in the column in front of him or the nerdy girl across me, intensively underlining shitloads of things in all the available colors she has..and a dozen of other young people. So I sit here, listening to that song and I dream of moving somewhere else...a place where time seems to go slowly, life seems carefree, there is a vast green field of grass and a magnificent lake and THE SUN.. happy people are passing by and my head is spinning but I don't care because nothing else matters and I listen to this music and enjoying the....

#84 Moving Mountains /alternative, post-rock/
There are just a few occasions I devote a lot of time on the complete album of a band... although I am totally in love with music I never seem to have enough time to check out properly all songs in an album. Unless, the album kicks ass, which is the case with the next band I would like to present briefly to you.
So yeah, the band is called Moving Mountains and I might have posted some of their stuff before but I will focus on their last album - "Waves". Personally I can describe their music as a...weird combination between alternative rock with a slight post-rock flavour, the lyrics just blew my mind and the music in general is quite..serious/sad, I would say synchronized to my current mood.
Always only for me
My life is like a chase dream
The Cascade
Where two bodies lie
..you can check the whole album in the following playlist, those four are just my current favourites.
Fear no more my son, because someday the trees will sing
And I know that someday will come,
Where the trees are growing roots among the place we used to
Sit and breathe the air.

#83 My Body /indie/
So, it has been a while from the last post, which can only mean that ..I was either really bored with posting music here or..I was just busy. But anyhow, I've been collecting some really cool tracks from here and there so the only think that comes up to my mind is - enjoy the music!
Cage the Elephant - Shake me down
Young the Giant - My body (both bands have a similar pattern in their name..funny)
Foals - Hummer
