#100 the dawn of tomorrow

So, I've decided temporarily or permanently stop the blog. It is unclear yet. The posts and the music in them will still be online in case anyone cares. I am glad for the comments and emails I got from known and unknown people. It was fun writing here, but I do not have the desire to do it anymore, at least not now.

Since it's some sort of final post I felt like showing you what has been on my playlist lately. I hope you find a piece of yourself in that music.

Bon Iver - Re:stacks

Bon Iver - Holocene

Nneka feat. Ziggy Marley - Express yourself

Pinback - Walters

John Butler Trio - Ocean (live from red rocks)

William Fitzsimmons - It's not true

"This is not the scene I dreamed of. Like much else nowadays I leave it feeling stupid, like a man who lost his way long ago but presses on along a road that may lead nowhere." - J. M. Coetzee, Waiting for the Barbarians (1980)

The music is out there, keep discovering it,

Ivo

#99 You gotta love the nineties

I got 99 problems and..naaah too cheesy. Uh, I kind of didn't wanna hit the 100 posts, for God knows what reason but it is gonna be a fact soon. Maybe. I have been thinking these days about the music from the 1990s and well it is the 99th post so I kind of decided to related them in a way which through my prism seems..logical.

I came acros couple of songs from the early or mid 1990s and I just could not help notice a slight..specific sound which is missing from the music nowadays. Don't get me wrong, we got amazing bands and I kind of stick to modern music, but some sometimes I miss the last decade or whatever I can remember of it. You might feel it listening to some of the recordings and watching the videos... or maybe it is just me.

Filter - Picture

..could you take my pictureeeee, cause I won't remember

Sunny Day Real Estate - Circle

one of the earliest band of Nate Mendel, the bass player from Foo Fighters...and of course the bass line is mind crushing! The band itself is actually quite influential, they started the...emo movement although eventually it evolved in a makeup fashion trend related to bad music =/

....and something else similar to SDRE ..Texas is the Reason - Blue Boy

The Smashing Pumpkins - 1979 ...pure fucking classic!

#98 Ben Howard - Every Kingdom

I think the following post is one of the most postponed posts in this blog. Whether it was because I just knew I have to write a lot or.. I just wanted to be more familiar with the music of the artist I am going to present you today - I do not know. But the post if finally being writen as you read that..by my half-frozen fingers.

Anyway, there have been few occasions as you know where I present a full album. Today I want to present the whole artist itself. The name is Ben Howard. He is from UK and he plays guitar. He is usually accompanied by Chris who plays bass/drums and India who plays bass/violin. Also - they all sing. In a perfect harmony.

I was lucky enough to see him live just for two songs which were..one of the two most amazing songs I have ever seen live. I have been listening to his album "Every kingdom" through the past months. Those songs were my company through lots of things I have experienced this semester. The only songs I never removed from my phone. They can bring you down and they can raise you up. I had the honour to play one of his songs and I felt so ....good. I won't describe how I ... how I feel and sense that music. It is up to you. I just want you to get familiar with that music cause it is worth listening to. The rest is up to you. This post is a mere transmitter of that music.

Ben Howard - Old pine
Ben Howard - The wolves
Ben Howard - Keep your head up
Ben Howard - Empty corridors
Ben Howard - Diamonds (live)
Ben Howard - The fear
Ben Howard - Only love
Ben Howard - Gracious

whatever your eye and ear can grasp from that guy. Go for it. Enjoy.

ps. Maybe just a few people would read that post, I do not care. but if you make it that far - all the way to the bottom - this is the first music I actually sent to my parents to listen to. They loved it. I love it. I hope you love it :)

#97 Post Rock is a Genre

I wasn't planning on posting anything anytime soon, but I couldn't help it because I think I just found the best post-rock song in the world. I've been listening to it for hours now and I think I'm even gonna play those guys on the radio. This is just out of this world. On top of everything, in addition to the epic piano, there is a nice shade of electronic music. So yeah, I have been neglecting post-rock a bit, although this is THE music. Might not be suitable for everyone, but screw that. So the reason for this post is Collapse under the empire - Intelligence.

ps. all three songs are <3

#96 A walk in the mist /various/

Was walking around the city today. I guess... around the late afternoon. There was a slight mist, which is not very surprising for this dark and gloomy place. So as I was minding my own business thinking about the everyday, not very remarkable things, a blind man passed me by...

uh..I had to rewrite the next couple of sentences cause it is really hard to express what exactly I want. But lets go back on the situation. You know, people always say that disabled people don't like compassion and people feeling sorry for them and I really do get them. I kind of try to inspire myself, because those people really deserve respect. They face obstacles beyond our imagination, cope with them, often win and keep pushing. I never paid much attention to the way blind people..deal with the everyday life and I don't know what made me pay attention to that particular man. He was also kind of going my direction (more or less) so I was walking behind him and was observing his movement. It was trully amazing. He was faster than many of the random people on the street and really precise in following..wherever he was going. That thing kept for like 5 minutes or so before we had to "part" ways - using his stick as a radar, he confidently took turn in a small street and I lost him out of sight. I don't know why I even talk about that but..such an everyday life thing, which I never thought before impressed me a lot. Kudos. Enjoy the songs.

#94 A story

I told you how creativity sometimes is absent, right? Ok, I was listening/watching Mew - Repeaterbeater and.. kind of this is what it came out of it. You might enjoy the video a bit before starting reading the story. Just a humble opinion. Hope you like it :)

Blood. It was everywhere. Literally everywhere. Dripping from his hands, covering his jeans...the gray tshirt of some metalcore band, which nobody remembered. "This time there's no tomorrow" he thought to himself, while lighting a cigarette. "I am not even a smoker, where did that came from?" puzzeled and amuzed he still inhaled from that modern poison. It made the moment more dramatic. At least in his head.

It's been not more than a couple of minutes.. a time, just enough to finish a cigarette. The squeezing pain was fading away and he finally stood up. He had no name. No memories either. Some kind of shadow, another slave to the week. It has been a while so his tired and worn eyes finally got used to the lack of sufficient light. Standing motionless in the center of this..room, he finally realized there's a tiny door in one of the corners. And a dead body in the other. Then he blacked out.

It must have been half an hour before his mind finally snapped back to reality or what he thought it was reality. That half an hour felt like forever. He knew he should make a decision as soon as possible. His whole body and soul were torn between those two corners. Finally, he started walking to what he thought was the reason for him being there - the body. Just a few steps before it, he found himself falling down in this vast black hole. He blacked out again.

That unknown person could have been anyone. And it is. It is you, me, him, her, them.. in this paralell world where nothing and everything makes sense.

..blood. It was everywhere. Literally everywhere. He woke up again in the very same room. He still had no name. No memories either. "This time there's no tomorrow" he said to himself desperately trying to remember what happened and how did he end up there. In vain. He was trapped in his consciousness forever.

#93 Ghosts /downtempo, chillout/

Oh well, the daily struggle with all the reading for university and the general lack of sleep totally sucked out all creativity so I really have nothing that worth reading. And I'm also lazy. Like really lazy. I guess it is better to focus on the music tonight. Enjoy :)

Lusine - Two dots

Stateless - Bloodstream

Ladytron - Ghosts

#92 Helen Keller

Helen Keller (1880 - 1968)
I have no idea why but I just came across the name of Helen Keller. Honestly, I had no idea who she was and what she was fighting for.. I do not feel confident enough with my writing to try to describe her life and what she has been through, but her story stroke me immediately. It cured my insignificant and meaningless hangover, it made me realize that staying in bed will not give me anything today, it gave me desire to stand up and try to achieve something today. Move, embrace things around you, touch, feel, absorb, smile, make others smile.. if a deafblind person managed to achieve so much and made the world a better place, I... we should try to do that. At the end if all about beliving in yourself and having the inner strength to keep fighting with what life offers us. Helen, that goes for you!

Foster the people - Helena Beat!!

The beautiful girls - On a clear day

Citizen Cope - Let the drummer kick

#90 Remix my thoughts

I was trying to take a short afternoon nap cuz..I am just completely unproductive in any sense of the word. Well, was an epic fail. But I was listening to this remix of "Twice" and while I was desperately trying to fall asleep that came to my mind "remix my thoughts". Sounds kinda catchy, ye? If I ever have to come up with an album name, that would be it, roflmao.

I don't know what exactly is.."remix my thoughts" but..good to me it sounds. I guess in a way we very often "remix" our thoughts before they actually came out through any of the communication channels available. We often "dress" or change them a bit, put a bit of this, remove a bit of that. They are in a way..remixed. It's just how brain and the basic sense of communication work. Wow, I just totally came up with that right now, but sounds like its coming from a textbook, right. Hah.Whether that "remix" is better than the original.. nobody knows. It is time for some nice remixes..good for studying :)

Little dragon - Twice (Raw Tactics rmx)

Example - Watch the sun come up (Joker & Ginz rmx)

The XX - Shelter (Willpower remix)

#89 Typical /alternative rock/

Recently I close friend of mine..a friend I have for a quite some time sent me a picture of a burnt piece of paper with some text on it. I read it and I realized it sounds familiar. It was something I wrote 5 or 6 years ago on that very same piece of paper which later i burned on the edges and gave it to that very same friend of mine. I did change it a bit cuz..i wanted to write tonight, but I hope you like the main idea behind it and the songs which you can just scroll down to. Enjoy your Sunday evening. Don't be typical! :)

We live our busy, dynamic, fast-forward lives. And even though you might think that it is not always like that, time in fact passes incredibly fast. But on rare occasions we try to peak back in the past, back to the beginning. What infuenced our lives, who were we and what were our dreams. Why did we choose this particular path which lead us to where we currently are. Well, for me is always hard to answer those questions. Time blurred my mind. Irreversibly. On the other hand, there are a few moments.. yeah I bet you know what I talk about. The most precious time span of our lives - the time with our friends and family. And I don't mean every single second. I mean the moments when you look at them and you realize that at this very same moments you are not just a bunch of people. You share one body and soul, dedicated to an idea, a dream, a purpose. A moments of true happiness. Those memories will not vanish with the movement of the clock's arrow. They are engraved in your mind forever.

#88 Random thoughts /indie rock/

Something came to my mind today. I do get the fact that we are considered as the most superior creatures on this planet because of our intelligence and so on..you know, the usual blaberish. And despite the fact how complicated the human brain is..I do have a vague idea how things work..for most of us.. but have you ever though how do animals view the world around us...

So, I am really fucking curious what kind of thoughts they have, how do they process information..when..you interract with it? Whether cause you love the animal or it is interesting or ..you want to kill him. Erm, basically information about it has been processed in your human brain and.. yeah I really get it. But what exactly those creatures think..of us for example? Do the species communicate? There's this mosquito flying next to me and I wish I could see the world through his eyes for just a minute. I mean I would prefer another animal, but that one was the one I saw first. Enjoy those easy going indie-ish songs while thinking bout this nonsense you just read :)

#87 The Ocean /acoustic, relaxed/

Insomnia can be a bitch sometimes. Although it is quite good sometimes on productivity and creativity it gets a bit boring, especially if you fight it for years. I hope when I get older I can sleep more. At least I start writing some stuff during the night. I like the quietness. If you add some music in that mix you get the perfect creativity environment. It's not like I will come up with something extraordinary that is going to give the chills to someone, but yeah putting the thoughts in a sense-making order gives me some sort of satisfaction.

I was thinking of parents - children relationship. Sometimes I think we do not praise them enough. Or we take them for granted. I cannot imagine what is it like to be a parent, but I just picture this .. exalted feeling of knowing that there is something much more important and bigger than you in this world. Something that you are ready to fight, protect and die for. I believe this is how my parents feel about me. Them and many more.. For us, who are lucky to have parents like those, well..we should be grateful. Very grateful. Now back to the books... that was just a very short thought that has been going through my mind and might sparkle it in yours, if anybody is reading this. Otherwise you can always enjoy the songs below :)

#86 Moleman /drum n bass, dubstep/

I guess lately I feel like devoting a whole post to only one artist/band. So yeah, that would be one of those posts. My flatmate lately introduced me to a producer from UK going by the name Moleman.

I had enough time to listen to most of his stuff on youtube more than once. Actually I got my own addiction for some of his tracks. In general I do not consider myself as very knowledgeable about the electronic music, but I stand behind my words when I say that some of those tracks are the best thing I have heard in a while.

You would not regret if you check his youtube channel - there are some killer drum n bass and dubstep tunes on it. I like to label them as a "Sunday electronic music" although I cannot explain very well the logic behind that. Maybe you will understand. Enjoy!

ps. check out this track Imagine and you will find out why I call it a "Sunday drum n bass". Im gonna keep my reading in the sun while enjoying this tune...

#85 Ocean /acoustic rock, chill/

It's Sunday. 14:17 in the afternoon..well yeah - kind of makes sense. I am reading my extremely uninteresting article dealing with the Great Depression. I mean, it is intriguous, but right now...

...and the next song goes on, so I lift my head up and start looking around... Sunday in the library, full of different students, eagerly grasping whatever they can take from the textbooks or..checking Facebook, but - it is quiet. There's this guy biting his nails and staring empty in the column in front of him or the nerdy girl across me, intensively underlining shitloads of things in all the available colors she has..and a dozen of other young people. So I sit here, listening to that song and I dream of moving somewhere else...a place where time seems to go slowly, life seems carefree, there is a vast green field of grass and a magnificent lake and THE SUN.. happy people are passing by and my head is spinning but I don't care because nothing else matters and I listen to this music and enjoying the....

John Butler - Ocean

John Butler Trio - Nowhere man

John Butler Trio - Used to get high for a living

#84 Moving Mountains /alternative, post-rock/

There are just a few occasions I devote a lot of time on the complete album of a band... although I am totally in love with music I never seem to have enough time to check out properly all songs in an album. Unless, the album kicks ass, which is the case with the next band I would like to present briefly to you.

So yeah, the band is called Moving Mountains and I might have posted some of their stuff before but I will focus on their last album - "Waves". Personally I can describe their music as a...weird combination between alternative rock with a slight post-rock flavour, the lyrics just blew my mind and the music in general is quite..serious/sad, I would say synchronized to my current mood.

Always only for me

My life is like a chase dream

The Cascade

Where two bodies lie

..you can check the whole album in the following playlist, those four are just my current favourites.

Fear no more my son, because someday the trees will sing
And I know that someday will come,
Where the trees are growing roots among the place we used to
Sit and breathe the air.

#83 My Body /indie/

So, it has been a while from the last post, which can only mean that ..I was either really bored with posting music here or..I was just busy. But anyhow, I've been collecting some really cool tracks from here and there so the only think that comes up to my mind is - enjoy the music!

Cage the Elephant - Shake me down

Young the Giant - My body (both bands have a similar pattern in their name..funny)

Foals - Hummer

#81 Going to California /acoustic/

I can't sleep.. or I don't want to. Not quite sure which of both. Anyhow, I do feel like writing down something, you know - go back to the main purpose of the blogging. It's not like I have anything significant to tell you..whoever you are, it's more like I just want to talk. About.. about... about how writers feel when they sit behind the empty sheet, about all moments that make us laugh, sad, thrilled, scared...feel, about people saying "bye" or about people saying "hi", about the weird feeling I have - feeling weird and not exactly comfortable and in the same time enjoy a quiet nice with nice music. About shitloads things.

So yeah, I was watching Entourage, the final episode and I actually felt a bit sad, weird right? About a fuckin' TV series. I am really smiling right now, cuz..its funny, but its the truth so why not just embrace it ;) Too bad I cannot write down all the streams of thoughts I got in my head, but who needs that. Enjoy your night or day or...whatever you call it.

#80 Diamonds on the inside /acoustic/

I hate being sick, especially when you reach the point where you feel like crap and you can't do shit. Thank God its Sunday. So yeah, I guess some acoustic music would be suitable for these days.

City and Colour - Love don't live here anymore

Ben Harper - Diamonds on the inside

Nothink - My Broken Lady (amazing song by a spanish band in someones car, somewhere in Spain, one of the warm summer days)

#79 What did she say? /dubstep/

One of the things I like about the dubstep is that very often people just kinda 'lock' themselves in that weird world created by the music and..don't care about whats happening around them. And they dance as there's no tomorrow. It's the power of music..or they are just on drugs. So yeah, there's a lot of dubstep around me lately and the weekend is comin up (although lately everyday is Friday) and surprise, surprise - another dubstep post.

Chaste & Status - Flashing lights (feat. Sub Focus)

Skrillex - Rock'n'Roll

Imogen Heap - Hide & Seek (dubstep rmx)

#78 You're a God /alternative rock/

Vertical Horizon - You're a God (I guess some sort of one-hit wonder band, but I rly dig the song!)

Gob - I've been up these steps

Mew - Special

#75 Rufus T. Firefly

Okay, so I finally decided to add a new post in the "Promising Artists" section! During my viaje in Spain I came across a young, but promising indie/alternative/post rock band from Aranjuez (a really cool city near Madrid). I had the pleasure of meeting one of the members and I got their CD so after listening to it for a while I decided it would be a good idea to try to spread their music around.

So the band is called Rufus T. Firefly and the name of the album is "My synthetic heart" which is also one of the tracks in it. The artwork is FUCKING MINDBLOWING and I dig some of the lyrics! I couldn't find most of the songs from this album online, but you can check their other songs on their web page and myspace page.

Some of the songs available online which I like - my personal favourite Inertia... also 8:24, Rational killer monkey

So, if you have time and you wanna listen to something new and not yet commercial, I think those guys deserve 15 minutes of your time.

"Tomorrow nothing will remain. Tomorrow will be time to think."

#74 First breath after come /post-rock/

I just checked my last.fm page and I noticed that there is a song I played significantly more than any other song..so I played it again. And again. People describe it as psychedelic math rock (The music is often intended to have a disorienting or destabilizing effect, or to otherwise act on the listeners’ sense of “normalcy”) - you gotta love that description, right? It is not really music for the masses but hey, its pretty cool once you get into it.

The band is Giraffes? Giraffes! - When The Catholic Girls Go Camping, The Nicotine Vampires Rule Supreme. ...haha

Ok, now let's throw some post-rock in the mix.. Explosions in the sky, which hopefully I will see live in November - First breath after coma

aaaand something a bit more hard Russian Circles - Station

#73 The Ukulele

Eddie Vedder - Can't keep

random youtube girl - Fuck you ukulele cover

ps. I rly had no idea that the origin of the ukulele is from Portugal

Rise Against - War of hero (thx)

Kings of Leon - Pyro

Angus and Julia Stone - Big Jet Plane

..I am standing next to my window and I admire the beauty of the night.. sometimes all you need is a bit of darkness.

#71 Crash /acoustic, late night music/

Don't get me wrong, I understand that all of us got problems and all of us are unhappy with ..well with something. But.. I don't know, I think that sometimes many people, including me do not appreciate what we got for granted. The ability to walk, smell, see, feel, jump, crouch, twist, touch the world around us. And..despite.. all the crap that has been going around us, there must be a point of our life that we stop, turn our head in a weird direction and say.. "hey, I am lucky for some of the things I have..it can always be worse".

I have no idea whats going on and where life is going but..that is the beauty out of it, right? You have no idea what is expecting you tomorrow.

#66 The beginning of the end /various/

Okay, so I am at the final stop of my summer trip and after ..dont know how many days I sit in front of a computer and since my friend from Madrid is sleeping I decided to drop some information here. After tents, cars, beaches and festivals I will fancy a bed and shower, but I will kind of miss the adventures you will read later on. I saw some of the most amazing sunsets, beaches, mountains, waterfalls..which I jumped from! in the world...

Although its not rly a blog I plan to post a long post with pictures of the weird adventures I´ve been through and the places I ended up..some of them quite unexpected. I was supposed to visit Spain only, but I ended up waking up in a beach in portugal just at the most western point of the continent. But stay tuned for more. Besides Portugal, technically I entered UK ..the picture u see is from Gibraltar and we were at the top of that awesome small mountain or whatever it is, admirnig the sunset. I recorded many cool spanish songs but I need to find them on youtube... so when I get back home.

The first band I post Rufus T. Firefly ..well I met their drummer, an really positive and nice girl called Julia and i got their 2 cds and ..well they rock. I think I might dedicate a whol post on t heir music..later on. The other 3 songs..they are just accompanying me during my tour of this part of the world. Enjoy.

Rufus T. Firefly - ?

Oasis - Champagne Supernova

The killers - when you were young

Eddie Vedder - Hard Sun

#64 Incubus - If not now, when? /alternative rock/

So this time I decided to write a little about a certain band - Incubus. More precisely - about their latest album "If not now, when" which came out ..well sometime this year I suppose.

Before writing anything I must say I am a huge Incubus fan since their first albums and like many people out there I think they are going to leave a trace in the music industry. Needless to say, just like the comments after their previous album, there are many disappointed people in terms of the musical direction of the album, but I guess it is quite normal to develop and change musically with the years. I find the album calm, pleasant, relaxing and well quite easy to listen. I do dig most of the songs, will not give any names - i believe everything is worth listening to..

Despite the singles "Promises, promises" and "Adolescents" which are gaining popularity... I think attention must be paid to "Isadore", "Thieves" and "The original". On the other hand, I strongly disliked "If not now, when". Anyway - check out the songs, hope you liked them.

These are all the tracks, in case you want to check them out:
11. Tomorrow's food

10 days later...So they finally uploaded everything on youtube and I finished the post. I think my mp3 player got tired of the album, but not me.... and I must say - I totally fell in love with the album! Enjoy and feel every song your own way!

#61 Watercolors /hip hop/

It's a quiet Sunday evening. A close Korean friend of mine introduced me to the first tune I'm gonna present tonight and .. well it's quite the thing I must say. I guess originally is a hip hop artist, but I love the instrumental stuff - a bit chillout, a bit funky.. I think the whole album is quite nice, but hear for yourself.. Witness - Watercolors.

I'm not much of a hip hop listener but songs like the previous are..well I should find more similar music..speaking of which I remembered Tech N9ne - One Good Time.

Good night.

#60 Postcard from Italy /acoustic, folk/

Belogradchik, Bulgaria
It is a bit cold, but nevertheless very relaxed and chilled day. So here I am laying down on my couch next to the big window, watching the trees outside, slightly being moved by the wind... and I guess I just want to listen to something peaceful.

Beirut - Postcard from Italy very interesting band, strongly reccommend!

An afternoon like that cannot go without Kings of Convenience - Misread

...and riding the slight folkish wave from Beirut - some very promising Bulgarian artist Kotarashky - Tebe

#58 Pyro /easy-going/

Even though we've changed and we're all finding our own place in the world, we all know that when the tears fall or the smile spreads across our face, we'll come to each other because no matter where this crazy world takes us, nothing will ever change so much to the point where we're not all still friends.

Incubus - Defiance (live)

Joseph Arthur - In the sun

Kings of Leon - Pyro

#56 Red morning light /indietronic/

So, it's been a while. Lately, I've been busy with things happening around me and didn't feel like posting anything. However, I found some really cool music meanwhile. I just want to devote this post to all the kind, interesting, crazy and warm people I have met the past year.

Crystal Fighters - At Home

Delphic - This Monumentary

Lusine - Two dots

#55 Carrion /metalcore, post-hardcore/

Okay, it's been a while for the post-hardcore/metalcore/etc genre in that blog....and I think Monday is good for some a pump-up music. Mondays suck big time, indeed. The first two songs I found quite recently, and I think they are relatively young bands, but they are doing more than good.

We came as Romans - To plant a seed

Save the clocktower - It ain't over till these bones are picked clean

ok.. and Parkway drive - Carrion

Sometimes all we need is a bit drop of anger, it's a good fuel. Enjoy your week!

#54 Let's do something /easy-going/

Just wanted to post some kind of relaxing songs, a bit chill...a bit electronic...a slight trace of dancing element...but not so much, given the fact that its Sunday. Anyway, enjoy the tracks.

Delphic - This momentary

John Beltran - Ten days of blue

Lifelike - Adventure

#53 Mellow Music Festival /mix/

Okay, so here I was trying to calculate the profit or loss of a writer of a put option...and it's really.. Anyway. I came across information about the Mellow Music Festival and I decided to check the bands. Surprisingly some of them I knew, some of them I saw live in Netherlands..the others - are just awesome. Unfortunately, I won't be in Bulgaria during that time...damn it!

Anyways, for those of you who are eager to check the line-up because..well you just want to discover new music or you might actually consider attending the event I decided to post some songs which I personally liked.

Red snapper - just saw them live a couple of weeks ago and I would have to say that it was an interesting experience. What is more - they gonna play on the free stage. Enjoy Suckerpunch.

Another act on the free stage will be Onra - The Anthem. Frankly said, today was the first time I came across with him but I dig his sound.

Despite the free stage, there will be numerous other open clubs where you can listen to various artists (if you are willing to buy the ticket/bracelet..which is totally worth it). Another amazing thing I see for a first time is the Carles Lopez plays the Reactible Live!. Seriously, that interactive instrument blew my mind. I won't go into much details, but this is the official website - www.reactable.com.

Another name worth checking is The Clonious - One at a time (no idea why I chose that song, but sounds chilling)... I totally fell in love with that song FYI.

Well I hope despite the short information about the artists this post sparkled either your interest for their music or... in case you are in Bulgaria around that date - you would consider checking the Mellow Music Festival.

#52 Smoke on the balcony /pop-rock/

So, despite that the picture on the left is crappy..it's the first time I use my own as a cover of a post in this blog. Just wanted to show you where I spent my last couple of afternoons, including today. Was quite nice, just went there alone, put my bagpack on the ground and laid down watching the sunset. Despite the fact that we live in quite dynamic and interrelated world, being alone with your thoughts (and away of skype, facebook, twitter) is a must from time to time! I will post you some of the songs which accompanied me during my late afternoon nap on the roof.
Ginger ninja - Sunshine

Ginger Ninja link 2 (in case the video is not supported in your country)

The two songs, which are a good representative of the modern pop-rock culture sound cheerful, but for some reason I get a bit gloomy listening to them. And the last one - a bit different genre, but definitely suitable for the occasion. Jakob - drive here and then

Something very beautiful that happened to me is coming to an end. I already had to close some of the pages and it does not feel right.. but that's life. Those songs, despite their difference will remind me of so many things. Too bad I can't explain with words. You - just enjoy them :)

#51 Some will seek forgiveness, others escape

In general, I do agree that what's charming about the future is that it is obscure, but on rare occasions I do get kind of troubled about... well about everything that is ahead of me..ahead of all of us. I wonder how our lives would turn out, cause although I passed my teenage years long time ago, I still feel everything but prepared for the unknown. I will just keep believing that eventually everything will turn out okay for you, for me, for all of us.

Enjoy the songs and the upcoming weekend!

Underoath - Some will seek forgiveness, others escape

The Blanks - Hey ya!

Brett Dennen - Ain't no reason
